One Down, One to Go

I wrote my first university exam yesterday… one down! Still one to go on Friday. Then I’ll be heading home for Christmas on Saturday. I’m trying to get as much top-secret Christmas knitting done as possible before I leave because, let’s face it, keeping a secret when you live on your own is a lot easier.

I’m still working on my Dad’s Scarf (Rav link). This is taking forever… I think it’s a combination of the really dense stitch pattern and the fingering weight yarn. It’ll be worth it in the end, though! The book is How Tea Cosies Changed the World by Loani Prior, which I won in Greer’s giveaway last month. It’s such a neat book- great pattern for tea cosies and other things! I can’t wait to make some of them.

I’ve also gotten back into spinning… 100 grams in the next 4 days? Bring it on. (Rav link)

I finished a bunch more little cross-stitch ornaments (charts here). My favourite is the little snowy barn… so cute!

I’m hoping I’ll have time to wrap up all of my cross-stitch WIPs before I leave as well… wish me luck!

I’ll be linking this post up with KCCO and Yarn-Along as usual. Have a great day 🙂
