A quick questions for you lovely readers…

Hi everyone!

I’ve been thinking lately about switching my blog over to Blogger instead of WordPress. Blogger offers a lot of the features for free (like custom CSS editing) that you have to pay for on WordPress. There are also a few downsides which is why I’m still researching/ debating. I’d like your opinions on 2 things:

-If you have experience with Blogger and WordPress, which do you prefer? Why?
-If I switch to Blogger, are you more or less likely to continue to read and subscribe? Why?

    • Hi Carrie,

I’d love to know what exactly you find confusing and how I could improve it! I’m pretty new to blogging, so this is my first time designing a webpage, so I can use all of the feedback I can get!

      Thanks for reading,

  1. It took me foever to figure out how to follow since I was with blogspot and you were with word press. I guess I am just a creature of habit and am used to blogspot (I have several friends with a blog there). I do not know how to find ‘about you’ and I do not know how to read through any past blogs….but please do not take it too literally, I am sure most of it is just me (not your blog). I too am new to blogging….and my page is not anywhere near as fancy as yours….so that may be another thing to keep you with wordpress…..it is different and not the same old, same old.

    • Great, thanks for the feedback! I’m sure it isn’t just you, there must be other people out there who aren’t familiar with WordPress and have had these troubles!

FYI, you can access my “about” page here: https://likepurlsoffastring.wordpress.com/about/ (the link is in the bar just below the header). You can see past posts by clicking on “older posts” in the bottom left-hand corner. If you’re on a specific blog post to begin with, you’d need to go to the homepage by clicking on the header first.

      Thanks again šŸ™‚

Leave me a purl of wisdom!
